TOUGH, RELIABLE AND READY TO TAKE ON ANYTHING.

EPA compliant with MaxxForce Advanced EGR, the only no-hassle emissions solution for 2010 standards. A Compacted Graphite Iron cylinder block is 40% stiffer with 75% higher tensile strength, and 200% greater fatigue resistance than iron used in other Class 8 diesel engines. Low vibration levels prolong the life of the engine by protecting it from ordinary wear and tear. Fuel system combined with twin series turbo chargers, delivers peak torque at a lower RPM, which allows for earlier upshifts when accelerating and fewer downshifts when climbing hills. Internal testing has shown a 2.4% fuel efficiency advantage over the leading 15L engine. Over 500 lbs lighter than the nearest 15L engine with similar power output. Peak torque is achieved at 1000 RPM (just over idle) and sustains at higher RPMs for a more responsive off-the-line driving experience.
